Our family’s favorite way to spend a day at Lake Wylie Lodge: Getting out on the lake on a boat.

We have rented boats from several marinas on Lake Wylie. Our friends at Lake Wylie Boat Rental make it easy by dropping off a boat directly to the Lake Wylie Lodge dock for the duration of your stay. Or, you can drive to pick up a boat for the day at a marina like Morningstar Marinas.

When you reserve your rental, ask for a tube for guaranteed fun on the lake.

 
 

The other pro move? Boat to lunch, drinks, or dinner. Our favorite spots:

  • Papa Doc’s Shore Club: A relaxed restaurant on the water for families, large groups, and dogs. Our favorite place to boat for lunch or dinner, or an easy 15-minute drive from the house.

  • Drift: An upscale dinner option on the water.

And our favorite way to end a day on the lake is back at Lake Wylie Lodge in the hot tub.
